We live in the most beautiful part of the best country in the world with conscious gratitude.

Our goal is to leave our tiny piece of paradise a 'greener' place than when we got stewardship of it.

We know there is room for improvement, so if, when you visit celebration house, you see an area we could improve upon and get a bit greener, please tell us. 

giving back 

5% of profit goes to conservancy and/or land trusts in British Columbia.  We also support local not for profits with refundables donations.

1. the main building was designed to be passively heated & cooled
2. all appliances -energy star
3. low water use toilets, dishwashers, shower heads 
4. we have a 'lending library' of party items for reuse
5. our table linens reduce chemical, hot water, and ironing energy use
6. washrooms offer choice of cotton hand towels
7. we use zero voc paints
8. refundables go to Happy Cat Haven/Habitat for Humanity
9. we recycle the waste produced as completely as possible
10. we use organic gardening principles
11. we use non-chemical cleaning products
12. we leave a large part of the property untamed wildlife habitat. 
13. driveway & parkings areas are not paved to allow max rain water infiltration
14. we maintain a no go zone where deer fawns are born
15. we have 'green' privacy fences of living bamboo and laurel hedges
16. we offer organic bed linens
17. we purchase/create cruelty-free spa products for guests use
18. bedding & decor chosen to limit allergenic reaction
